The Rest of the Year and Next Year
2025 is in the final stretch. I’ve been busy on Book 2 of the Shores of the Deluge series. I’m afraid that this book is trying to kill me, but I plan on being victorious.
For the final couple of months, I have plans. This includes finishing the development edit of Book 2 and then going through it a couple of times before the end of the year. As I’m doing this, I’ll also be doing a polish of Book 3’s final draft. I’ll set up some time in 2026 with my editor to get this going through the process. I also hope to get started on a new standalone novel I’ve been thinking about for about a year. If I can get 2,000 to 5,000 words on this new project then I’ll consider that a win.
Next year, Book 2 will be released at the Better Off Read Book Festival. We had so much fun at the festival in 2025; we hope to have the same success in 2026. Book 3 will go through the editing process while I write my new standalone novel.
Going forward, I plan on releasing a book a year. Barring disaster, lack of funds, or the end of the world that should happen. I’ll take a look at this plan next year and see if I was successful with it in 2025 and 2026.
Thank you to everyone who has bought my books so far, it means the world to me. Keep reading and I’ll keep writing.
Best,
-Jeff.
